Meg & Chris patiently waiting for baby "Jacques"

Meg, Chris and I went to Gas Works Park yesterday to take some photos of their family as they are waiting for baby "Jacques." Meg said it was really important for her to have some photos of herself pregnant and has always wished she could see photos of her mom when she was pregnant with her.

Meg and Chris moved to Seattle from New York earlier this year when Chris began his first year residency with the University of Washington Medical Centers. They met at Tulane University in New Orleans, and have been married for two years. I love this photo on the bench because at the top of Kite Hill there is a little family with a stroller. Perfect! Meg reads a lot of baby blogs, and had lots ideas for poses which made my job easy.

They are both really excited to soon be welcoming "Jacques" in early February. Chris did a lot of belly touching and they both smile and laugh a lot. They said they are looking forward to teaching their baby everything about life, and passing along the things their parents taught them.

I'm looking forward to photographing "Jacques" when he arrives, throughout his first year, and beyond.
